Middleton Research offers a wide variety of products to suit your need for hyperspectral imaging. We can work with you to develop custom systems for your specific application or you can choose from one of many fully integrated off-the-shelf systems or components that meet your needs and are ready to assist you in your data measurement. In addition, Middleton Research offers hyperspectral software and chemometric options to aid in the data analysis process.
There are two basic types of hyperspectral imaging systems: staring arrays and push-broom imagers. The first type has a 2D detector array looking at a scene one wavelength at a time. The wavelengths are changed in sequence, and over time, the whole data hypercube is assembled. The push-broom arrangement consists of an imaging spectrograph and a 2D detector array, and provides three outstanding advantages for high speed hyperspectral imaging (HSI):
